At around 9:30 a.m., the party of four entered the mountain from the Shinkan Porosiri Hut at around 4:00 a.m., turned back at around 9:30 a.m. when they felt danger at the snowy ravine at an elevation of 1600 meters, and at around 11:30 a.m., while descending at 950 meters, two people in distress slipped and fell on the rain-slick trail, injuring themselves.
